The exciting news is that 4 out of 5 of our chickens are now laying eggs! As you can see in the photo, one of the eggs was a slightly strange shape.
Before Easter, Year 1 used some of the eggs to make hot cross buns and the plan is to continue using them in cooking sessions so that more children and families get to taste them. Mrs Harvey our previous Outdoor Learning Project Leader may be gone but she is not forgotten.
She played a big role in helping the hatch the chickens last spring and here is a message from her thanking the school for a tasty breakfast!
