Normand Croft will benefit from The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan’s, pledge that ‘No child should go to school hungry’. Therefore, we are able to offer a free meal for children from Reception to Year 6 this academic year (2023/2024)
If you are entitled to benefits, it is still important to register, click here for the link. This will mean that the school will receive extra Government funding to be used for the benefit of your child’s education.
At Normand Croft all of our school meals are cooked on the premises by, Alliance in Partnership (AiP), specialists in education catering. AiP is committed to serving quality, fresh, locally sourced and seasonal meals. Their daily menu rotation ensures freshness and variety, including dinner hall favourites, such as, spiced cauliflower, chickpea, potato traybake and no chicken tikka naan. These new, innovative dishes focus on sustainability and encouraging plant-rich diets. All dishes have been developed by AiP’s skilled chefs and approved by its expert nutritionists.
Arrangements are made to ensure that suitable meals are available for children needing special diets for health reasons. If your child needs a special diet you will need to fill in an allergy form the school office. The catering company will need 3 weeks’ notice to prepare a bespoke menu for your child.
If you choose to provide a packed lunch for your child, we encourage a healthy and well balanced meal. We do not allow sweets, chocolates, nuts or fizzy drinks as part of packed lunches.
