Geologist, Ben Hedley
We were really excited to welcome into our school a real scientist, Ben Hedley. He is a geologist and worked closely with Class 3 discussing geology and fossils. The class enjoyed using microscopes to help them make careful observations of different types of rocks.
They also learnt more about the process of fossilization. It was fascinating to have an expert to answer all the children’s well thought out questions.
